Julie

Hello!
I just finished reading Julie by Catherine Marshall. This is a lovely,
Christian Fiction book! She also wrote Christy which I loved reading very much also.
It's kind of hard to tell, but I think Julie is Catherine Marshall, like Christy is her mother (Leonora Whitaker Wood).

A Beautiful Quote by George Mueller

I believe that the chief reason I have been kept in happy, useful service is that I have been a lover of
Holy Scripture.
It has been my habit to read the Bible through four times a year; in a prayerful spirit, to aply it to my heart, and practice what I find there.
I have been for sixty-nine years a happy man.
~George Mueller

Today, I did this in my Pennmanship Test for school and I thought it was a nice quote.

Christy by Catherine Marshall

I am now reading Christy by Catherine Marshall. It is a very interesting book!!! My Papaw (Grandfather) lives in East Tennessee in Seymour,in the county below Del Rio, where all this took place.
Catherine Marshall wrote about her Mother's life. Christy is Catherine Marshall's mother.

I am on chapter 9 of 46. I've never read a book that long! It has 474 pages.
         Have a VERY Happy Thanksgiving!

A Message from Kirsten!

Hello Everyone! This is Kirsten. Virginia is typing for me, but don't tell anyone please.
I'm very excited about Thanksgiving!!! I get to go to Tennessee with Virginia and her family! I can't wait!
I helped Virginia pick out the blog background and make her template. She is very excited about it, and she told me she wasn't going to change it any more until Thanksgiving is over.
My friends Emily, Kit, the Bitty Twins, Baby Sister(Virginia's Bitty Baby), Elsie, and Millie are doing fine. They will post soon. I hope!!!
